The 2284 a new beginning
So last year my brother ended up getting a 2284 and he never really did anything with it, so I decided that I would really like to have a dedicated snow blower tractor, what better machine for this I thought, so here we go, I will get more pictures of the tractor tomorrow sometime but I put a good set of plastic on and I’m also going to put a new seat and tires on. It runs really great but I was missing one part too set up the blower so I used one of the sponsors on the forum it arrived today, I hope someone will give me some advice on the seat I want to lower it I really don’t like how high you sit, btw the new seat is one it’s way. Thanks in advance everyone

Try using the lower hinge holes and maybe cutting a couple coils off the springs.

You also asked about the plastic strip that fits over the "Idiot Lights", that is NLA so try the sponsors.
Here are some Cyclops tips. https://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/...ad.php?t=33244

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
