Default NLA parts

I would like to start a thread covering Cub diesel NLA parts, and suitable replacements, made for other applications. Most diesel specific parts are NLA, but if they have a K pre-fix, they are probably still available from Kubota, just drop the K, and you'll have the Kubota part number. This is for the parts with a Cub 7 digit part number. I don't know of too many, but maybe others do.

Upper radiator hose, Cub part# IH-1286631-C1 / 735-3020
suitable replacement: Kubota part# K7311-85150, made for the Kubota RTV utility vehicles.

Upper radiator hose foam insulating cover, Cub part# 723-3037
suitable replacement: Armacell / Armaflex 7/8" x 1/2" unsplit rubber pipe insulation

I'm still looking for the cooling fan idler pulley, but I am currently using a nylon idler pulley, made for a 1/2" belt, with good results, McMaster part# 6234K43 and you will need this shorter belt 65355K12, or any 3VX x 26.5".

For the cooling fan idler pulley I think I found an original IH substitute. The original part number for the pulley is IH-61176-C92. If you search for the IH-61176-C92" number. Is working good for me.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
