Day started off at 33 at 6:00 AM it dropped to 21 at 12:00PM and is supposed to be about -5 tonight. Yeah I know some of you guys in MN, MI and ND would call that a heat wave but the locals here are in panic mode. Me not so much being a NE Yankee. It's winter, it get's cold and Al Gore is wrong.

When I lived in southwest Michigan, we often dipped into the -teens.
When it dipped below -18 we started to worry as peach trees would freeze to death.

Yesterday up here in Northern MN it got to like -40 with the windchill. Businesses were closing down.(I dunno why ) I didn't want to run any of my tractors at risk of cracking some of the cast iron.

Northen MI here, we're at about 108" of snow for the season and have been lucky to get out of the single digits, some nights have been 20-30 deg below 0. A lot of seat time blowing snow this season!

I live in the frozen tundra just east of Cleveland, OH. My feelings about this winter are like the bobcat kissing the skunk....I've enjoyed about all of this I can stand.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
