Default Cub Cadet 147 Snow Cab

So this old 147 was stricken for snow blower duty and I'm not a fan of the cold so I thought a cab was a must.

The day it rolled in.

Making it up as I go.

Extra charging for the heat (more on this later)

Looking like something

Fresh Cub Cadet Yellow powder coat on the cab

Absolutely amazing !!! I am in awe of your craftsmanship to say the least. I think you may be one of the most envied men on this site...as well as in your state, knowing ND winters can not only be long but brutal.

Got some headway tonight.

Inside lower is insulated and sheeted.

This shows how I'm doing the insulation. Two sheets of 1/2 foam glued back to back and then glued in place.

Rear plexi glued in

Left door fitted.

Inside view.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
