Default Front Blade Spring Replacement

Just picked up a 42" front blade for my 105 but it is missing the trip springs. Does anyone know where to find reasonable prices replacements? I would rather not have to pay $68 each for a spring. Even if someone had the measurements of a stock spring so I can try and cross reference to something close.

Thanks in advance

check Xtreme motorworks. Not sure if these are correct for you

Default springs...

I bought a single trip spring off ebay for a blade I have that was missing a spring. I think it was something like $23 for it...and it was a little rusty too!

Those extrememotorworks springs look to be pretty reasonable for the pair and more than likely, exactly what you need. Probably a matched pair too! If it were me, I "spring" for those without giving it another thought!

Check your local farm fleet & hardware stores.
Those look just like the ones they carry.
Why would you but a blade w/missing springs?
Hope it was at least cheap?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
