Which port is the original on this QQ42A 90 Degree Gearbox

Now that you point that out, and with your photo posted up above, my entire quick attach subframe and gear box mounting is a bit different.

You can barely see it in one of my earlier photos, but the two plates that attach to the frame of the tractor have two sets of bolt holes on the front where the gear box plates attach. They are set to the wider position now to accomodate my wide frame tractor, but it seems my setup is able to mount to a narrow frame tractor as well by just moving the four bolts holding the gear box plate on. I wouldn't be surprised if the gear box is not original either.

Seems like maybe an older style gear box and attachment frame on what is most likely a 4 paddle qa42a snow thrower.

The guy I bought the setup from had the 1450 with snowthrower and cab that I bout, and another thrower on a 1250 with manual lift and no cab that I passed on. So he had a few sets in the yard, and I presume had cobbled parts between the two over the years.
