My crystal ball is foggy on winter days so I have no idea what you are working on, but it has a green /red color this time of year so I assume it might be a John Deere or Ariens ??
That said, you can go to partstree.com and type in your tractor type & model number then look up the parts to see if the numbers are the same, just like we do  Some are the same some not, also power steering makes a difference.

Sorry guys, I'm working on a Cub Cadet 100. I'm working my way around this thing and was looking at the tie rod ends so the question came up are they the same as those on the steering rod. Looks from your answers that they are.
As I go to install the carb and gas tank up ahead do y'all use teflon tape on the threads when putting on the fuel bowl and the 90 degree elbow on the carb? Thanks again. Dave

Some will say yea some no, because it could get under the needle/seat in the carb and cause a leak.
Personally, I use it and be careful to wrap @ least 3 threads back from the end of the fitting. A word of caution if you are not familiar with it, it does make turning easier, so not to over tighten and possibly cause a stress crack in something aluminum. Hope you appreciated the humor of my crystal ball.  Do use partstree or cubcadet look-up as it will answer a lot of questions a person has or how an assembly goes together. Just another "tool" in your toolbox.
