Default 3 Point Hitch for 3000 Series

I think its hard to beat a 3200 series for mowing. Great decks with striping rollers, diff lock for hills and soggy areas, and foot controlled hydro.

There are 2 versions of the hitch for the 3k tractors. The early version with the twin disc brakes take the 365 hitch and the later machines take the 207 hitch.

Fab the hitch, buy a cylinder and use a steel 3 port ball valve to direct flow to either your main lift cylinder or your 3pt hitch.

I may just do that. I have an extra front hitch that I can use the lift cylinder out of.

Yes, I've been in touch with the guy but he will only ship through Fastenal, and I can't get an accurate shipping quote from them. They sent me quote for $125 to ship! Seems outrageous.

If it was half the distance, maybe.

I'm gathering up some material and may start fabricating one. If the one in pa falls through, that may be my next option. I will create a new post about the progress if I do.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
