Good Greif, Man...
You need to make some more room in there, at least clean house. By the looks of that place, you have more than enough projects under way to start another. How in the world can you work in the middle of that mess?? |

None of the other tractors are mine. Their my brother's. We usually pull them out to get them out of the way.

If the impact driver fails to remove the foot pad bolts, you can cut better slots in the bolt heads with a cut off disk in a grinder then use a BIG screwdriver with a wrench on the shaft, or, a last resort, weld a nut to the top of the bolt. Weld it through the hole in the nut. Usually use a 3/8-16 nut. It WILL come off at that point.

Agreed... welding the nut to the bolt head does work well... been there done that!

In the works of buying an aluminum grille casting and headlight switch, maybe a muffler if the guy doesn't sell it with the engine. 60$. Now to talk to another guy and get my nice hood. One observation I've made is that the grille casting is either warped or bent just enough to cause the hood to barely rest over the dash. The hood is not much better, it's bent so much in the back that, when on the floor, one back corner is an inch off the ground and the other is on the ground. No matter how much I bend it, it's always crooked. Also the dent is annoying.

In the works of bargaining with a guy for an aluminum grille casting, headlight switch, throttle cable, and possibly a nicer muffler, as the muffler I got for 60$ has the opening broke off and the bracket to hold it up is starting to break off. Another person also has a toolbox from Xtreme but he keeps insisting one guy is going to buy it, but like me, the guy buying is full of @$## and he waits until you pack it all up in a box, get it weighed, and ask for the money before realizing shipping costs money and backs out.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
