The old float was plastic so no dice there. $80 worth of carb parts and I was able to blow the driveway tonight after about 3" of heavy snow fell. Not a hiccup. Adjusted the carb well and everything went well. Only issue remaining looks to be an oil leak on one of the remote filter lines. Will keep an eye on it and try to repair. Just happy she is starting and not stumbling anymore.

Success! You can get your local hydraulic shop to make you new lines if need be.

Not too many machines I like better than a good running red 782.

Glad you were able to get the snow dealt with!

$80 in carb parts? You need to look elsewhere. The only small engine carbs I ever have anywhere near that much into, are the Onan ones....
