I think it's worse mowing when you're a machinist. I have a rectangular yard with few obstructions. I view it as a tool path, like milling the top of a block of metal. It should be optimized for the least amount of wasted cutting time, while maintaining straight lines and uniform radiuses. Don't even get me started on how I notice a lot of people around here mowing a square yard in a circular pattern.

Yes, I am one of those people who throw the grass into the street, but only when I mow the street side of my ditch. It's steep enough that my 1782 will slide a little sometimes and getting the outlet end of the deck wedged at the bottom of the ditch is much more of a pain than the other end.

I'm one of those guys who blow my clippings in the road now but for a good reason...Since last year we have bike path on both side of the road, those "A" hole throw there empty water bottle and cigarette pack in my front 3' hedge.

I have a dream (Martin Luther King) I catch the guilty one and shower that mother flower with my pressure washer

mail it back to them postage due ( address/return the same)
Buddy of mine, returned his neighbors dog chit back into his mail box,
with a note "you dog lost this, thought you might want it back"
That took care of that problem.

Sometimes you don't have a choice but the street. It's the people with a choice and choose the street that bug me.

I mow out into the street, but then I back down the street and push it all back in the ditch when I'm done. I like it clean looking, and always hate riding thru fresh grass mess on my motorcycle.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
