Default Oil Seal Dimensions

Would anyone have the rear axle oil seal dimensions for a 1050?

Any numbers on the seal? You can go here and see if you can match it.

http://www2.chicago-rawhide.com/popu...kup_457012.htm

It is the same seal that all gd use.

Lew I don't have the seals out yet. No way to measure them yet. Where I work we deal with Motion Industries and I can get seals at a fraction of the cost. If anybody had a CR # that would work as well. I don't want to tear into it until I have the seals in hand.

It was a no brainer for me getting them at NAPA. Motion is cheaper but they are 30 miles away and the fuel it would take to go up and back makes it not cost effective or if I had them shipped to my house shipping charges would kill the savings. Called NAPA yesterday afternoon the seals are there now. Can't beat overnight.

Google is your friend, just like I did.
Of course a quick search here would of netted the same results
(other than the John Deere listed sizes)

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
