Well, I think you will be lucky to get any kind of literature on it. Broyhill may or may not be helpful, but for the age of the sprayer, I wouldn't get my hopes up. Here are a couple places to get sprayer parts from: https://www.sloanex.com/sprayer-parts.html https://www.shoupparts.com/products/sprayer-parts/ As a note, almost every farm supply store, (Rural King, TSC, Farm and Fleet, ect) carry sprayer parts. Not difficult to find them. On one last note.... for anyone who has been around a sprayer, or even minor plumbing, this is about as easy as it gets. If you need a schematic to figure out how to plumb it..... well... it's pretty basic. Here: https://www.google.com/search?q=basi...w=1278&bih=570 |

You may not find a grease cover - I don't think they have such thing. You know that the zerk moves as the pump is operated. I fill that cavity full of grease to keep liquids and dirt out. Why change out the pump? * I didn't find your specific sprayer but this was my first attempt. https://broyhill.com/wp-content/uplo...ts_Catalog.pdf Try searching "broyhill 3 hp gas sprayer parts" or maybe without the word parts. http://www.hypro-pump.net/ |

Thank you for that informative post. I'll see what I can find and will report back. -- Steve, Are you saying there isn't supposed to be a cover on that oily mechanism, in the center of the pump? I assumed there was something missing. I do not want to switch out the pump if it is still good ... I just wanted to find out what make it is and research it from there. Brian

Brian[/QUOTE] I said I hadn't seen cover on the several HYPRO pumps I have. It dose appear there is a cover. Page 12 in the manual you could have found using the info provided by ol'George Post #2 in this link; https://system.na3.netsuite.com/core...f87cf&_xt=.pdf Item 9 part # 0608-5300 is a Safety Cover Have you checked out the tank to see if it will hold water? The warning given is DO NOT OPERATE THE PUMP FOR MORE THAN 30 SECONDS WITHOUT SUPPLY FEED TO THE PUMP. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
