Your lights will work, but still not have enough juice in the battery to start it.
Hopefully one of the grand wizards will come along with some other possibilities.
In the first video, the battery had been run completely dead. I went to Advance Auto and had it tested and the guy said it was dead and that I needed a new battery. I figured the tester would also test to see if it would hold a charge too and that was how it would determine if it was a bad battery... not the case.

After the battery had been charged yesterday morning (video below), I was able to get the 1811s lights to work and for it to turn the motor over. Now I am sure it is a charging issue.

Update Video to the Part 1 above.

Honestly, I didn't know what it was but I have a feeling I will get to know this 1811 like I know my Jeep soon haha

Your 1872 is really taking shape. It should get plenty of use now. Tool box looks good, but being a cub, what tools could you possibly need?

Wish mine looked as good as yours. Thanks for the comment. That toolbox is for the other non Cubs during plow days so I can fix on the go lol.

Thanks, but mine sure didn't start out like it ended... A lot of time and money, did I mention "money"? well worth the investment.
You've done quite a bit on yours to get it to your liking as well

Thanks, it'll be my first time plowing with Tru-Powers. I've only used knock-offs in the past.

Did my first mowing with the 2072 and 46GT deck. Power steering is really nice, and the turning radius seems better on the 2072 vs the 1450, even though it's a bigger tractor. Cut quality is great, but the deck is very loud, sounds like a jet engine about to take off. Overall, it's going to be hard to go back to a non power steering tractor for mowing.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
