Thanks for all the great pics and videos guys!

I'm SO envious! We're supposed to get upwards of a foot of snow this week in my area (about 15 mi SW of Mt St Helens) and I can't do anything about it!!

My driveway is about 1/4 mi long and steep. I don't know the % of grade but its about 125 ft of altitude gain over that distance.

After looking at all the seat time you guys are getting, I'm really champing at the bit!

Thanks Jude - Great vids again!

Here's a couple of shots of my driveway from '08. By the end of the storm we had record snow (3' on the ground with 4' - 6' foot drifts). It was awesome up here but our road assoc. had to hire in a dozer to clear off our 1.5 mi of private road. He then came up driveways for $50.00 a pop. Given that I didn't have any way of moving snow, it was a good deal.

Thanks!
Neil

I guess steep is a relative term, I'm not sure I would walk down that thing in the snow!! Can you get down in a truck and not end up in the neighbors yard?

Hey Red,

It can get a little sporty . . . I've got a 3/4t 4wd Suburban that goes up and down it pretty good - the challenge is going up . . . I don't have alot of running start from the bottom but so far I've only failed to get up it once and that was with no chains. Here's a pic at the bottom of the hill.

I'm looking forward to outfitting the 104 for snow and seeing how it does.

Neil

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
