if you have, and want to keep your original seatpan..?? you can order a replacement seat cushion from colemans military surplus for 9.95$ and then some trim lock..with a little trimming and some grunting youll have a new seat..not quite like the original, but dimensions are relatively the same and the price is right...thats how i did mine, if youve seen the 1250custom/restoration thread...?

I have a 1450 that was rode hard and never put away. The original seat is cracked bad but the pan is good. Thanks for the link. Does this cover come with padding?

I'll have to search the web site for anything else I can use because I hate paying $17 to ship a $10 part.

Where did you get the trim lock?

It does come with the foam padding adhered to it..i had to trim some off the top and the bottom front to make it fit..large serrated kitchen knife or electric one would work good, just be careful not to go through the cover!!!! As i said its just a touch bigger than the dims given on their website, and not perfect but it does work!! I ordered the metal reinforced trimllck from mcmaster carr...i forget what size and style....also, colemans does make you order around 20bucks worth, so get yourself a g.i issue baclava for those cold plowing days!!

My relief valve on my hydro pump is leaking its leaking out of the small hole and it cant go in reverse how do i fix it. I know a guy in ohio rebuilds them but i don't know if he still does it or not. is there a place i can buy one cheap? because used ones aren't guaranteed to not leak. And new ones are expensive its the left one thats leaking.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
