Started some landscaping this weekend with the 1864. I can't wait to get time to take the fenders and foot rests off and get them painted it, this thing looks ROUGH up close on the rear end of it. She's a great worker with a low hour engine and goes like the dickens. It just so happens that the body panels I used for it when I "built" it were pretty rough. But that'll be taken care of this year

That's cool, I've never seen a narrow front Cub (I'm still new to this though)

.

It's been too wet to do much around here so I've been doing some shopping.

Picked up all this stuff the other day http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=38183

And I picked this up today, I've been wanting a box scraper for a while now. I'm going to do some changing around to the hitch though since I don't like how it is now

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
