982 looks killer, when you have nothing better to do the tires on my 2182 could use some armor all. just busting.

Some pictures from the blizzard a couple weeks ago. We got some where around 18 inches (drifts up to 4+ feet).

This was taken at 8PM on the night when the storm started.

This was taken at 8AM the next morning. It continued snowing heavily for 4 - 5 more hours.

Drift on the back slider.

Drift at the garage door.

The back patio (the sliding door is up 4 steps from the patio).

Getting some seat time.

There's a driveway under there somewhere.

Thanks Diz. Fortunately it was a very light and fluffy snow so it blew and shoveled easily. But after a while it was piled so high that it became tough to throw over the piles.

Today I got the 782 out to clean up before it refreezes. The ags definately need to be loaded!! Temporarily I put the weight box with a 100# lead weight on the hitch. It helps but chains are the best! Here are a few pics form today.

Thumbs up Seat time in the snow

Plowed the new 6" snow on top of what was here in Sw Ohio w/ 3205. Has 54" hydraulic plow and 100# wheel weights/ chains. I didn't realize how low air was in lft rear tire and spun it off the rim I finished up with my trusty 1972 WIZZARD two stage blower. It's a beast! Afterwards I got the chain off which was wrapped around inside axle and inflated tire finally. It almost sounded like a blowout when it popped back onto the rim. Put chain back on and tested doing some touch up on 100' drive. Works much better with air in the tire A neighbor few doors up had his craftsman out w/ 42" mechanical blade, no weights or chains. It was a sad sight. Not sure how he made it 50 ft from house before being stuck for good. I went and asked him if I could help him get it back to house, but declined since he had retrieved rear wheel cables that I guess we're supposed to be like chains. Still stuck after moving a few inches, I offered help again, but declined. He had to shovel a path to get back to his house.
The 3205 had very little trouble, even going up a fairly steep hill.
The differential lock was invaluable!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
