I see your log in name has 69 ss 396. You got pictures? Is it a Camaro or Chevelle? I had three 69 Chevelle's, one SS and a 69 El Camino back, years ago, love those cars.
Just being nosey.

There were a few maples that blew down in a wind storm a while back at a friend of mine's property, so i bucked them up and skidded them to a landing. He's paraplegic so it's really difficult for him to move around in the woods and run a chainsaw, but once they're up on the landing he'll be able to take care of business.

I did happen to get 4+ hours of seat time!

Some of the maple was still green and 14 - 16" across and yet the cub pulled it. It amazes me what this little 2072 will do, but i do have 3pt to lift the end of the logs a little bit so the end doesn't dig in, and the rear tires are loaded with windshield washer fluid and i have a set of wheel weights on them.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
