Glad it's alive after all that hard work you put into it! It looks rough right now, but I have faith that you will turn her into a showroom 121!

Don't know but my guess is that you can do that with any NF. This is my first NF so I am no expert. Not being a smart A-- but I have no intention of becoming a NF expert. I like wide frames with hydros. This was a pile of parts and a $100 71 roller. Just sort of a screw around project for me. Sorry if the purist’s don’t like what I’m doing but ask me if I care. Sort of a Rat Rod Cub.

Hey to eaches own, variety is what makes the world turn. I personally plan on only owning NF's, I don't care for the look of the WF or Hydros, just a person opinion. But like I said, to eaches own. I think you can do it to any NF, I like the look and may consider swapping the square fenders and seat bracket for the seat pan and no fenders on one of my 104's or my 123. Sorry for derailing your post, haha.

It runs pretty good. The Mid West clutch is like a light switch. No slipping with that setup. Brakes work great, steering box needs a little tweaking. The seat is a big improvement over the board.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
