The 2072 keeps its winter clothes on all year around but yesterday I put the seat on it that came off the 1810 I just picked up. I like it and it is comfy!
It should be ready to go! Sorry Allen!

Sam Mac,

I understand your pain! But having bought and rejuvenated this cub, plus spent hours and money on a blade, weights, chains, etc, I have the best insurance AGAINST snow!! It'll never snow again in VA!

By the way, good tale of your two new tractor purchases, and selling one before you made it home!

John

Sam snow does not suck it blows. At least way up here in PA it does. Not quite ready yet as I am still picking up leaves and such and getting ready for hurricane Sandy. I will have a blade on my 2084 and EricR will have his blower on his 2086 along with the possibility of a blade on one 102 and a blower on the other. Of course not having enough rears for all those seats we can just jump from one to the other. Bring it on ole man winter central PA is almost ready for what you can bring on.

Been a LONG time since I posted last, but better way late than never!
Been really busy with the old IHC truck, work at the grain elevator and getting ready for the winter. looks like I'll be the first to post an action shot (video) this year!
Got the 1650 on the Qa42A snowblower, and the BOSS 982 on the homemade 50inch power angle blade. Look out snow!
Replaced the lift bar with a chain, a pin welded on one end, and the other end is adjustable so the blower can be set to go lower or higher for transport or getting on a trailer. Gets darn near 6inches off the ground now, and hovers about a inch off when fully down. perfect for gravel drives!

Here are some pictures and a video
What do ya think of the stack?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
