Can anyone with my series or close to it post some pictures of how their throttle and choke cables are run. Specifically need it at carburetor but where it goes near battery box is helpful too. I have 2 brackets pieces that mount to the lower cover bolt next to the coil but would just like to verify the routing. Thanks

this might help--it's a 108 pre-restore.

Good pics. If I remember correctly, that choke cable support arm shares a left nut with the coil. (That sounded funny).

Gotta love those cable clips, my Datsun 240z has a bunch. Simple and they work.

Thanks again guys. I think I've got it now between those pics in the thread and the ones in the manual. The brackets for the choke and throttle cable mount on top of each other on my 301 and both mount with a specific bolt.

Havnt updated in a while but have been trying to get some odds and ends done on the ole 127. heres some more pics. Still waiting to get some decals (I think I may be getting a birthday present this month, we shall see.) Ive been alternating working on this one and the 73 but lets be honest, its fun to see progress in both but the grass has to be mowed soon enough.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
