Here are some pics of an idea I used from an ebay item . A universal wheel weight set up very cheap to do That ebay sellers desighn was slightly more complex But here is what I came up with. 1/4" X 1 1/2" -2" flat steel common size any hardware store , ect. I cut mine 10 in long marked holes from back side of the 4 sqare mount holes drilled them out . Temporarly bolted them in ( use 2 1/2" washer to fill gap of the top piece of steel that overlaped the other ) tack welded them & removed to fully weld I did both sides. I used a piece of 3/4 " Gas line pipe statered with 18" pc. smallest Menards had. Started at 9 " each side centered it on the Now cross shaped metal & welded into place . Used 8 1/2 " Zink cariage bolts running them in from back of rim & boltd into place. I ended up cutting off about 2 in. of the pipe on each side . Slide on my 10 lbs. steel weight That I already had sitting around the house . & I drilled a small hole at end of pipe ( May be easer as I found to drill this priar to welding pipe) Used some spring pins I had lying around Knew I'd use them someday , & I had to fill a small 1 1/4 " gap with a small piece of fence post that slide over top of pipe , or could just add an extra weight ?? I have 30 lbs on each wheel costed me less than $10 but I already had some of the materials like the steel so may $25.00 if you bought the steel new about 40" of it. I now just need to paint the old rusty steel weights : BlahBlah:
