I like that big tank you have, I use white vinegar for the small stuff, takes the paint off too.
Motor looks good, one day at a time though...

Default Got some work done this week
I was able to get some things done this week.

Got the axle channel tighten up.

Frame cleaned and primed, lots of wire brushing.

Axle after 3 days in electrolysis tank, minor wire brushing and primed.

Also cleaned the gunk out of the transmission, new seals, axle tube gaskets, rear plate gasket, trans wire brushed, also new brake pucks and O-ring on the brake retainer, and primed.

Pretty good weeks work for an old crippled guy, It's slowly getting there. Still a lot more to do but I sure am enjoying it.

Looks good, did you resurface the brake puck plate, it looks like it needed some attention.

I didn't resurface it. But I did sand it and got any surface rust that was on it off. There were no pits, It was really smooth to the touch.
