I cleaned one up a while back, and the general recommendation is to not split it. There isnt a big need to (I simply cleaned it up still bolted together)

Thanks, yeeter, that's what I decided to do. I've got into trouble opening up things I really didn't need to in the past... ...then wished I hadn't.

Got to shoot some red paint this weekend. Case-IH 2150 red over Case-IH gray primer. Followed the instructions; 8:1 ratio using Case-IH thinner. Shot with a low-end HVLP gun.

Looking forward to re-assembly...

I do hate being so careful of scratching the paint on reassembling.

Not really flyin' along on this like I wanted to, but did make some more progress.

Used an undercoating spray for the bottom of the battery box. It was deeply pitted and prone to rust. Got the steering column done/rebuilt. Started some assembly. New hydraulic lines installed.
