Engine is in.
Went rather well. Hardest part was getting the engine plate down under the front hydraulic lines, but I got it, eventually. Made the air duct between the engine and firewall. Had to also make a new throttle cable up. They sent one along, more like a choke knob than a throttle, so I cut the end off and used the cable with the original handle. Should I put some of the original foam I have along the bottom of the engine, or is this good?

Hey looka dat,has a lil' oil cooler on it ,coooool.
Todd you can press that ball bushing out or use a small hacksaw,slice the flange for the bushing and knock it out. Looks like less than an inch space I would not worry about it. You are doing a great job.

Well today I FINALLY got everything connected, all wires and new fuel line and filter, hooked up the battery, oh yeah, oil and gas, turned the key and it fired up instantly. It runs most excellent... Ah, the lovely aroma of new engine when it get's warm just makes me feel all giddy... Need to fiddle with the throttle cable routing yet, then onto faze two.
