Just got a notification from my UPS account as it notifies me of packages that are incoming, date of arrival, and who its from. the harness should be here tomorrow which means that there is the possibility of the tractor getting pulled into the garage and getting the new harness. going to have to figure out how to fix the muffler now tho. unless anyone possibly has a 169 muffler for sale.

Just ordered a new muffler for the 169. I have the old one but it is in sad shape. Hopefully i will be able to drag it into the garage soon to put the engine in. Will keep you updated.

Did you get muffler from IHCCW? There was one on eBay recently but was for the "quiet kit" and elbow was different than original. The ihccw one is 2 bills and correct

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
