I may do that, when it comes time just have the top bar left off but ship it with it. That way I can take my time tracking someone down to weld it on for me.
The bumper is just for show since your such a mindful cub owner and would never actually run into anything....JB weld it on! Haha

Bill

P.S. 383mag, Great job on that bumper!

i was kinda making it for my 982D i like the way they look i trust my driving its the kids and wife lol. the cyclops it was on in the pics is for the kids they want a puller so im building this one almost all stock except for straight pipe. im not gonna take anything else off till they find out if they like it or not. if not guess dads got another tractor. the 1440 had no motor and bad hydro unit so i put the stick into it figured if the kids dont like pulling the stick wont matter because the tractor didnt have hydraulic lift anyways

I can get the top welded on here. Does that move me up on the list. My front plastic is just about trashed and I will not replace it without having a bumper on it for mowing.

Paul has tough grass, it breaks his grill.

Sam the grill had a crack when I bought it so it was not all my fault. It now sports several cracks but am not going to replace till I get a bumper. I use this tractor at our camp also so it is not all just my yard.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
