Thanks for the pics and congratulations on becoming a moderator!
My rubbing issue may have something to do with me test fitting them in the bare frame, perhaps the rear end assembly would spread the rails a tad. I am waiting on some parts to finish the work on the rear end, once it is back in the frame I will see if the problem goes away (hopefully it will).

Still had some paint left and decided to pule the mule drive and subframe apart and get it painted up. Did a final sanding of the fender pan and a final paint job on it. White pieces will be done again next.

Well I got my spring assist cleaned and painted and installed. The gas tank and mounts mounted up together, and finally got the rear wheels finished up and drying. Now it's just a matter of $$$ to finish up the final things I need. A few more months but I am learning patience with this project.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
