No, thank you! I'm only a little over 2 months into my "yellow fever" and I've caught quite the bug:biggrin2.gif: Found the 1st O' for $300 on craigslist up here in VT, about 40 min.s away. The 71 I bought a couple weeks later for $400 and was 1.5 hours away in VT. Both of these tractors came with mowers, snowblowers, weights, and chains! The O' I got last week was 4 hours away in southern Mass. and had to pay a pretty penny for it, but it has all the options except for lights. I hope you have the oppurtunity to obtain an O', they are awesome! Funny thing is this "disease" all started over a wheel horse tractor I was looking at to restore! Then I saw the O' and that was it

pic of my first O' that I'm restoring now, she was a little rough!

A prime example of why (I think) early Cubs rule Very Nice Juniors!! Can't wait, but not rushing it, to get O # 1 done. I'm hoping for next spring so I can start the 71 next summer

Thanks Sminkey, I restored this one in 3 months and 1 day start to finish. Everything but the fenders one had a big dent so I took my time and fixed it right. Sure is hard to stop once you get started. Yours is looking great, keep up the good work. You thought yours was rough here's mine before I started it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
