Repaired 125 muffler brace/shield
Here is the muffler brace, / heat shield that has been welded to a repair. I then cleaned it up and hit it with the Testor's Yellow paint. The color match is pretty good.

Voltage regulator wires need identified
Here are the leads that run to the voltage regulator. I lost my pictures to the correct connection terminals when I tipped over our canoe this summer. I'm looking at these hard to determine correct installation.

Did not get to achieve spark today
So I had planned to get spark today in hopes of hearing the 125 "pop-off" ! I had figured I needed to clean a bunch of parts and components first:
So I went down to my local wally world, and for $8.47 I got this:  I had a 3" paint brush, a wire brush, and a old tooth brush, and some scalding-hot water. Here, the cast iron grill is dirty:  Its dry now:

Here is the headlamp panel:
 Cleaned:  I went on to clean more parts for this assembly. This Goop is a great way to clean parts! Also, cleaned all IH stamped hardware with the wire wheel.

Holy smoke, it cleaned up real good.
Be careful wire wheeling the IH bolts if that's the hardware you're referring to. You can take off the coating, and after the bare metal get's wet or damp enough times they's turn to rust.

First Fire!
The 125 has spark and since has fired over! I believe I have the voltage regulator correctly figured out!
