Well Allen, you got yourself a really, really good machine with the "Sam Mac" seal of approval!! Glad your enjoying it buddy, and looking forward to the pics of you sweeping with it in the fall!!

BTW, I'll trade you some rain for some sun... I like my cubs and I like riding and using them, but it's been raining here for like 3 days and I have to drive my truck instead of my motorcycle. I'M DYING HERE!!! LOL.

Thanks Jonathan! We need some rain. Our grass is crunching when you walk on it...lol! The heat is rough on the yard. It won't be long, til it's time to use the sweeper.

I hear ya, Jay! It's been very humid here. I walk outside and start sweating, and my glasses fog up...lol.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
