Opps!
Jim added this post in the right place. I copied it to another thread also. First: thanks to friend Jim Bortles (HD1937) for taking time to film this and other shots of me playing in the BIG sand box at the Sagertown PA show last weekend with Cub and Ford tractors. Second: Thanks to all the OCC guys that help keep me going for about 1 year on these Cub projects. Learned a lot, and really had fun visiting and meeting new friends. Guys, I got lots of compliments many of which would not have happened except for you pushing me and providing advice like the seat from Todd and many hints and tricks from OCC members! Not sure who the little girl was? She just jumped in the kids car for the parade! Big dilemma now, start using or keep showing???? Yea these are easy to move around and have not tipped them over yet! I do like the idea of building more of the kids train cars too! Might have to think about that! Regards, Chris

JC,
Yea I should sell it while its clean but the wife wont let me! Gota love that! The seat is awesome! I dont plan to do any more Cubs for a while. Playing and spending money on the big toys now. I posted some static pictures on another there tilted "Cub shots from Sagertown PA show". Not sure why I didn't put them here??? Brain dead! Stopped and looked at a rough but running 127 (replacement engine) and they had a 1864 with Sims cab and snow blade. No prices yet. about 1 mile from me. No I am not interested! Regards, Chris

Duke,
Thanks for the link! Really trying to slow down a little on the Cub stuff. Wood is keeping me busy right now. I know a Model A doodle bug owner that has it bad for a 1-1/2 ton Model AA truck too! Regards, Chris

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
