Hey Flatbedford that is one nice F-350! We used to have a 1976 F-350 but it got junked. Wish we still had it. it would have made a great work/show truck if it was still around...

Thanks dieseldan123. The truck is mostly original in still in pretty good shape for 41 years old. Being in the Northeast it has some rust issues, but it is not too bad yet. I am afraid that if I don't get it fixed soon, there will be nothing left to fix.

That's a great truck. I wouldn't sell it unless you are absolutely sure you want to. I sold a '55 F100 for no real reason 3 years ago and wish I hadn't every since.

I really like your flatbed truck. I would like to find an old International flatbed truck to hook to my trailer so I could get more cub cadet's to the tractor shows in one trip. As it is now I can only get 4 tractor's with various attachments on at one time.

I love tinkering around the house and trying to learn how fix things that are broke or arent working right. But I really love offroad'n in my H3. Its no rock crawler, but for a daily driver it gets around pretty dang good with the 35's and I bet most rock crawlers dont get close to 18mpg highway!!!

Fishing, fishing, fishing.....

and golf. NC State graduate in turfgrass management and worked on courses since I was 15. I built golf courses until december 2010 when the economy got so bad that work dried up and I got laid off. But I still love the game, nothing harder than playing against yourself.

Default thanks jeff K.

the truck is my baby, so much more I want to do to it but the wife has put her foot down at the moment. My first purchased car all on my on. Only took me 1.5 years to get it paid off, so its all mine. Wish I had waited for the V8 model but love the milage out of the I5 egine, and 220hp is really all it needs. And I still say theres not another production vehicle that can transfer from the road to offroad better for what I paid. You cant beat this thing in the snow. And I cant think of another production vehicle that will take a 35x12.50 tire on stock rims with no mods either (although mines been leveled). Drove through a big snow storm two winters back in TN. 22 inches of snow and not one problem except for the other idiots in their honda accords. Who needs a snow blower when you can just ride over it?

This is a pic I took at a job site a few years back with the old stock tires just after I bought it, notice the F150 didnt want to temp the haul road...

The striper was caught out of Virgina Beach on a charter trip January 2nd 2006 with my dad, uncle, and cousin. Captains name was Herman Bunch if youd like to make a trip I have his number somewhere. Great guy, great boat, and tons of fun. They were so thickand right on top, the water looked like it was boiling. Heres another pic of what we kept (theres a few on the dock too), we threw three times this many back....

My F350 has a 360 V8, and 4spd. It is very powerful, just not that fast. Now that I have the Cub, I would love to find find a similar IH truck preferably 4 wheel drive, but I think they have all rusted away to nothing by now here in the Northeast. I haven't seen one on the road in years. When I was a kid, my neighbor always had an IH pickup and my town used 1 ton 4x4 dumps for snow clearing. That was over 30 years ago though. I can't even find pictures on the web of a 70s IH light truck with dual rear wheels 4wheel drive and a flatbed.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
