Nick,

As I told you before, if you struck out the deal for $500 with the guy and now when you go back to get it you try to beat him up some more after you both agreed to $500 then
If you did that to me you would be looking for another 800 and wouldn't be getting mine!

Nick,
I'm with Mike on this one. If you already agreed to a price of $500 and try to offer less when you pick it up, you'd be leaving my place empty handed, even if I didn't know anything about cubs. If it's a complete 800, runs good, good tires, and has all the hard to find 800 parts, it's worth the $500. You're not overpaying. They only made 2300 of 'em. Good thing you didn't try to buy my 800 when I sold it. Nice original shape, hard to find parts, creeper, rear PTO, etc. It's good karma to honor your offer. Someday, you will be repaid...........

Nick, I agree with Mike and Josh. If you and the seller agreed on a price, you should pay it.

NICK don't be a jerk when you strike a deal you honor it I even lost money on deals because I said I would pay the price asked when I bought things over the phone your dad would not want you doing things that way so don't it isn't right ok off rant and 500 for a 800 is great money tell me where it is and I will buy it even if needs the starter fixed most times 800 go for 750 to 800 and more don't lose it for a bad starter

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
