I am told the enviormental friendly antifeeze in not suppost to hurt animals.
I don't know if it would harm the ground if a small leak occured.
I'm sure it can't be any worse than the 60 + gallons of cloride in my big tractors as far as getting leaks.
I remember the days when the county used to "oil" our roads with used industrial oils
That was supposidly before we knew better. but that is another topic for another time.

I've never used any of the friendly antifreeze. I'm still using the old green ethylene glycol. They used to oil our road twice a year for dust control. And "before we knew better" I remember taking mercury to school to play with in class.

Default mercury

Yep,
used to rub it on a penny, to make it look like a steel penny or a dime,
still have some mercury I saved, some day it will be worth millions!!
Ha,LOL
playing with mercury, maybe that's why my wife accuses me of being "brain dead"
and I played with lead solders, even remember as a little nipper, chewing on them.
used to use "red lead" in our chalk lines @ work too,--- yep that explaines it ---- "Brain dead"

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
