Thanks guys. I know I closed the book up on the 100 awhile ago, but I had to throw on a couple pictures of me on it. Very happy with the feel of the "new" tractor, even has that new tractor smell when it get's warmed up.
Only thing I noticed that needs to be addressed yet is there's a sticky spot in the steering. But it's not going to be doing anything this year anyway, getting about ready to put it to bed for the winter. Next spring when I get the Jacobson blade on the front and start pushing gravel with it, I'll have it in the lime light again ![]() "What did you say Todd, a Jacobson blade?" Yup, I have the blade mount on it. I used it last year and it worked great, but wasn't sure I wanted to keep it on, but I will because it's so darn easy for me to attach by myself. Out for now.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
