Hope to get some seat time, if it doesn't rain.

Today, I got the K341 home from having it rebuilt. Might get it dropped in the 1200 this weekend...After installing the new clutch spring, and steel ISO mounts.

Also got my 2165 going, and got to mow with it...after MANY calls to my buddy who works at the dealer!

Really like this machine!

Cool deal, Conner! My wife loves her 2130, it's a mowing machine.

Tonight the 1712 came back to life!

I fired up the engine, checked the iginition with my timing light, set the idle and high speed RPMs with my STIHL digital tach, then I let it idle for 5 minutes, and immediatly drained the oil... After sitting for a few minutes, a tilt of the catch pan showed that I 'did the right thing'-metal flecks!

I refilled with fresh NAP-o-line 30wt non-detergent, fired it up again, fiddled with carb settings again. I'm letting it sit overnight to cool, and then I'll retorque the head bolts.

Spent a few hours on the 149 yesterday.
Got all the mowing done.

Then it was time for a much needed bath. I had got into a little mud and was just hosing it off. The Daughter grabbed a bucket & brush and give it a good scrubbing It needed it.

Worked on the 71 to fix a broken teaser spring on the clutch. After looking at I replaced the disc and the plates with it right on the tractor. The drive shaft and t.o. bearing were good so It left them be.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
