Default work day

Mowed grass at my dads house with the 1811, then went to my house and with a little help from son in law we used the 1811 to pull my old 147 out from where its been sitting for 15 years and to the shop for the start of a makeover. checked a prob on the 1720 dad uses to run around the farm where his jazzy wont go. finally started a list of parts needed for the 102 to get it up and running. Whew what a day

Spent last weekend turning the 70 into a mowing tractor. I got an undercarriage and mule off of my 72 and a 42 inch deck off my 129 and in about 30 minutes I was mowing, sort of. Today I done some fine tuningand adjusting, she handles the 42 pretty good but its a load in spots. Feels great to get some seat time on it since there was no snow removal time this winter.

Today, I spent most of the day working on the new 109. Got the blown K241 out, to find (after sanding on the crank, and honing the bore) that it is still usable. Hope to get parts in this week, and have it back in the 109 by this next weekend, ready to sell.

Took a trip Vince O's place 223 miles one way. Picked up a 60" Haban for one of my Supers. Stopped at Dukes on the way checked his O project. Vince rebuilt the carb for my 147 it was just a little worn LOL. Did some trail riding with Vince on his tractors. Guy has some awesome trails around his place. Then it was off to China Grove on the way back to pick up some parts for a JD 317. 13 hours on the road.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
