Default 1250

Well finally got to work on the 1250 with hydro lift pump and three point hitch today, was told it had a broken rod, just had the Exhaust Valve stuck on it, so replaced both valves and springs, cleaned head, changed oil, drained all the old gas, tore down carb and cleaned it, then when I was ready to start it, it would not start, Had to jump over the soleniod to get it to start, now other trying to fix problem with starting of the tractor, the hydro shifter has to be about 3/4 of an inch above the netural mark on it, to keep in from taken off, hydro's are new to me so I have to find out how to fix this. But the good part, It ran great, no smoke and sounded very strong, Now if the rain stops and I off for a while maybe I can get all this done and put on the dual wheels and put on the box blade and go play, sorry no pictures, did not have a camera today, will have some when everything is going right with it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
