Great setup on those 149's. Looks like your chains are of different links. Did one out perform the other or are they they same? Thanks for sharing your pics.

Thanks again for compliments, though wifey seems to think I have waaaaay to much spare time on my hands. Told her "I just like to take old things and make them look nice, one of these days I'll get started on you". Darn, that sofa is lumpy.

Here is a shot of the 147 after doing some clean up from the 7" we got saturday, the additional 1" yesterday, and I am supposed to wake up to another possible 3" tomorrow. She did such a great job I'm letting her sit out in the sun and dry off for a while (or should I say thaw out).

The plow tractor has 2 link chains on 23x8.5 turfs with wheel weights. The other has 4 link with the V bars on 23.8.5 ags no weights and about 150 lbs of lead on the hitch. I think the plow tractor does better on snow covered blacktop and the ags work better in the snow on my lawn. Hard to tell because the blade needs much more traction than the thrower anyway. The 2 links definitely give a much more comfortable ride though.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
