Default Seat Time

Finally I got this thing out of the garage and actually got about an hour seat time on it. It was so cold in the garage that the hydralics were almost too stiff to use it but it warmed up pretty fast. I'm attaching two photos of my adventure. In one photo notice that while I'm checking the pager I accidently scooped up the Kabota that we lost last year. I didn't have the weights on the back this time because of the work I was doing to the rear end but I used small children. Unfortunately they come off too easily.

Default Loader

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. My next venture will be getting a 3-point hitch for it with the goal of adding a blade to the back end. Then I'll paint both the bucket and the blade white.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
