This plow day will be a little sad this year. A good friend and Cub guy passed a few months back. He was actually from near where plow day is held and would come over every year and have lunch and talk Cubs. I'm not sure if he was a member here. His name was Dick Moyer and he was a truly one of the best. He absolutely had the nicest tractors (mostly super ) I have ever seen. Two years ago while I was plowing the alternator on my 1572 seized up. With out even asking Dick went home and took his off his 1572 and brought it back and gave it to me so I could keep plowing. Plow day will never be the same he will be missed.

I live only about 2 hours from this event and I was thinking about coming, maybe another year. I would be a first timer, I didn't even know these events existed, sounds like fun. Is it only cub tractors or anything with a plow? I have a Jacobsen GT10 with a sleeve hitch and brinly plow setup. The previous owner repainted the plow green to match his green tractor, I'm gonna have to fix that before I can show it in public LOL! It was in great shape and only $75 so I didn't worry about the color. Can't wait for pictures.

Every plow day I have been to is "bring what ya got" and have fun. Awesome group of people sharing the same interest. I had no clue on how to plow at my first one but there are people there to show you how and help with any mechanical issues. All I can say is GO, you won't regret it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
