Happy birthday Sam. Oh no, not another one, seems like only yesterday. I'll be 62 in a few months and will take my insecurity early. Like the pics of the kawi and the snortin norton. 30 years ago a friend had a 650 bonnaville apart on his garage floor, even then he wanted $1 a cc. Have a good day and we're gonna hit 70 next week. Happy birthday Sam, it's been a fun ride with you here! We all appreciate what you do and share here on OCC.
Have a cold one on the rocks. After 65 years, you owe it to yourself!

Seems like a good trade off. I can put five Cubs where one car sat and there are no titles or license to fool with!

Thanks for all the kind words Guys. I'm now officially older than dirt, or as I prefer "It's taken me a long time to become a dirty old man and I'm gonna enjoy it".

Good reliable machine, still has the retro look your after, with more powerful brake and better pneumatic then old one use to have, I can't believe how fast we use to ride on those crappy hard donuts in the old days.

Take it for a spin Sam and I bet your find out very soon how well those new age ride.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
