Nice $10,000 job...
![]() When you figure in the parts and what labor would have cost if you paid someone else to do it.. How could you ever want to mow with it after all that work? Really nice work..

Thanks, broke it in last night...pto wouldnt disengage?? Bearing is free, so im hoping its the airgap...it has juice from the lead but even with it unplugged it still spun?? Ither way ill dink with it later...i drove it up the hill a bunch to load the engine and seat the rings....engine builder recommends mobil1 vtwin oil because the zddp content...pull apart retorque the head and what not..lots of other bolts got loose...looks like the 82 series mule drive will work, so all i need to do besides all of that previously stated is get blades (17.25") mount drive pulley and FIND A SEAT OR SEAT RE-UPHOLSTERY KIT.... not easy for a quietline turns out....thanks fellas for all the kind words....

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
