i was looking at the fan today wile it was running and noticed it wasn't square to the shaft. i realized that as i tightened the bolts it distorts the fan. so i got the lathe running and made this out of aluminum... fan sits perfect now.

got the trans brackets in and finally got to test drive it. so far so good. every thing seems smooth. still got a few more things to do but its coming along.

so today i pulled the starter since its been clicking 4-6 times before actually starting. got a new one down the street at an armature shop. kind of a PITA to do, but its done and starts right up now. also adjusted the breaks. its getting there.
