Got a little seat time in today clearing off the parking area in front of my shop under the watchful eye of our collie, Sadie. She's never to far away when I get the 1450 out. Nothing like Cubs and Collies!!

Nice 1450! Wish I had hydraulic lift! I had a collie. Great dog. When the kids were small, he stayed right with them when they played outside.

Collie's are like Cub Cadets. You just can't ask for anything better!! I've had Sadie since she was 8 weeks old and she's 13 years old now but still real spry! When I have to blow snow, I get the "BAD BOY" out but if we get a light snow, I have more fun with the 1450!!

My mother bred collies years ago when we were on the big farm. Judge, her male, saved my life when I was 4; kept me out of the creek when it was running full. As I remember it the dog scared me more than the water when he grabbed me and wouldnt let me near the water!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
