The aftermarket engine mounts have more vibritation then the OEM mounts. They will get changed in the spring. Had to shim all front wheels, seemed to be a lot of sideways movement, even with new wheel bearings. Once everything is mounted, I'll post pics. Did get the hood to seat correctly on #2, but #1 still giving me problems. Working on angling brackets and a hydraulic cylinder for the 42" front blade.
You have been busy! Thanks for the update.

Found out why the aftermarket engine mounts vibrate so bad. Another cubber came by and told me I should have installed them with the steel inserts. More work to do this weekend.

Waiting on chains for 1450 #2. Need to get the angling kit for the blade. Next is Chevy points brackets from Brian Miller-$25 + s&h, w/ stock Chevy points. Then 2 seats. I really want to find a cushion for #2. This is a seat pan with the holes for mounting the arm rests. The cushion on #1 is brand new, but I'm told is for a high back 82 series pan, but haven't been able to find one yet. Need a headlight switch for #2 also, 40 bucks, OUCH! Then all the mechanical issues should be completed. Steering wheel decals are after that, although I'm seriously thinking about changing both to the 82 style steering wheels w/ center caps. I also want 2 link V Bar chains for #1. The tachs are from Evil Bay, $38 ea., free shipping. Have to double the RPM reqading for true RPMs. I forgot to get a picture of "ole reliable" outside the front door, (snow shovel!). The small pic should be here.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
