Those are a neat set of IH Cub Cadets! I cant believe I like something Steelers related, lol! I'm more of a sorry Brown's fan, although J.Gordon is among the best in the NFL!

Nice work on the sports theme!!!!

johncub7172....thanks for the compliments, just goes to prove that not all Browns fans are mean & nasty. I'm not a purist when it comes to proper colors so bring your cubby on down and we'll see how we can make her look in white, brown, & orange. (can't let the neighbors find out though)

I got both 149s ready just in time for our first significant snow fall here in the Lower Hudson Valley. I got the QA42A set up and with the rebuilt PTO it worked great. We had a few hours of sleet and rain after the snow, so the windrow at the end of the driveway was pretty sloppy, but I could still throw it as long as I didn't go too fast. The new V61 tires also work nice in the snow. I only have one set of wheel weights, but that chunk of lead hanging of the back of the snow thrower tractor seems to work just fine.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
