Thanks for the comments guys. Funny when you think about it, I bought this stuff intending to cabbage some parts and sell the rest... This 125 looks as bad as some of the other old beaters that I have, how come some of the crappiest looking tractors run so darn well?
After mowing season, I guess I'll put a blade on it, put some tubes in the tires, load them and round up another set of chains. Gotta do something about lights though... I'm gonna be in some DEEP STUFF if these other two run out half as well as this one does, I'm running low on good used parts and I really don't need this many tractors! |

I have noticed that also Yosemite Sam. My 149 is a good example. When i got it. It was pretty sad looking. But with a little work its a great running tractor. |

I pulled the deck on the 104 and put on the blade and chains. I got new inner tubes installed on the 129, put the chains on that along with the wheel weights I had on the 104 and ordered a pair of tri ribs for one of my 100s. So I have a GD and a hydro ready to push some snow. If I can pick up another set of chains, I got a blade for the 100 that I just might try out. The only pictures I have now are the 104 chains. I'll get some of the 129 when my QA latch springs arrive.

The 129 is ready for the big white show. I got my latch springs installed. You really don't want to replace them with a blade on. But it can be done.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
